16 years later

I thought you all might enjoy this little photo exchange. We had a valentine's dance for our branch and one of the girls is taking a photography class. She set up a backdrop and took photos and we got them today. I thought I'd do a little comparision from Morgan and I 16 years ago on our first date to just this year on one of our most recent dates. I don't think we've changed all that much, do you?

So grateful!`

We've really had some special moments this week. I'm so glad we took some time to be in the moment!

I am so grateful for our family. We love being here and feeling the joy of being a Williams. We are so blessed! I found this quote online and thought of some of our conversations we've had this month. I think as moms we are all working on this, but it inspired me to be better about listening and remembering..."The biggest mistake I made [as a parent] is the one that most of us make. . . . I did not live in the moment enough. This is particularly clear now that the moment is gone, captured only in photographs. There is one picture of [my three children] sitting in the grass on a quilt in the shadow of the swing set on a summer day, ages six, four, and one. And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less”(Loud and Clear [2004], 10–11).

This was written by Anna Quindlen. Elder Ballard quoted her in his talk Conference Sunday.

I love you all. Thanks for being such great examples as moms and helping me to be a better person. I love you! Val, thanks for setting the ultimate example for all of us. We love you!

I've been missing Marley SOOOO much this weekend. Saturday, Sunday classes get to be too much for me without her. I was uploading some new photos and had to share. Isn't she adorable?! She brings such a fun, independent, spunky crazy loving energy to our family and I'm just in love with her. I have to tell you all that I was able to have a moment while walking to the park to meet you all this evening and my heart just melted. We are SO beautiful! I LOVE OUR FAMILY! I'm so blessed to have you all in my life. Thank you so much for all you do. XOXO

Marley and Liams' Slumber Party!!

First of all YAAAH for Price and Sarah! Super exciting good news.

Marley had been waking up each morning saying, "I'm a play with Liam" ....so I thought she'd enjoy having a slumber party that way she could get some good quality time in with him. We had Marleys favorite "out food" Subway and then headed off to the JUMP ZONE. It was a blast!!! Daddy was able to come with us and we all just had a hay-day. Thank you Liam for being such a Super Terrific cousin! Marley absolutely loves you.

Jackson's 1st Birthday

Just wanted to share a few pictures of my little one year old. His birthday was March 25th. We celebrated his birthday from Sunday to the following Saturday (he had a runny nose so we had to hold out on the cake) hehe. My mom was visiting and we just had a wonderful time. It would have been better if we weren't all sick, but all well that ends well right?! We love you all and hope all is well.

Jackson eating his cake. I think he liked it!
