This and That

Here's just some random pics for ya. It's been such a long time since I've shared. We've done lot's...leaving NO time to blog. Ha, ha!!!
Cole and Jackson came over a while ago and all wore red unintentionally. I thought it was cute....and probably REALLY good for me because I'd been drawn to red....a little side therapy for me. :) Who doesn't love the color red?!
We had a "Wear Pink with Tink" party for all the girl cousins. Marley wanted to take chariot rides on the lawn mower and eat a camp fire dinner. That's my girly tomboy!!!
I think the one with Mar, Daddy and Uncle Nic is precious. I took Marley on a date that started at her bed time. We ate Thai food then went down town were Daddy was and walked the strip. She LOVED all the colorful city lights, LOUD music and all the hoopha that was going on down town Nashville. It was so cute she stopped and danced every time she heard a good boogy. We finished our date with an ice-cream cone which knocked Marley right out....she feel asleep right when we got in the car. It was all worth it.

Love you all!!!

day full of cousins!

Today was so fun! We enjoyed our day full of cousins so much! We started out by dropping Morgan off at Marley's house and gathering a few mar bear hugs all around. Next we hopped off to the zoo. We met up with Kimberly and Christy and all the cousins. Fisrt stop the playground. We figured with all the school groups at the entrance, our best bet was to get our play on right away and see the animals later.

Aunt Christy was the super aunt at the playground. She was Liam's best friend all day long!

Snack time!

sweet monkey!

Oh that little bug a boo!

Next stop the birds! We even had some kids share their nectar so we were able to feed them.

cute bums!

Last stop the elephants and giraffes. Emery stuck to Aunt Kimberly like glue! I love how much you wonderful ladies love my kiddos. We couldn't be more blessed!

After lunch and a few tired tantrums, we headed for home. Lucky for us the day of cousins was not over. Austin joined us for the afternoon. We went to the park for some good playtime!

Meredith and Grant!

Kimberly sent these photos out by e-mail and I thought they needed to be on the blog, so here goes.
"As you all know I forget to stop and take pictures. Well I took some and want to share. Grant held himself up in a sitting position at exactly 5 months old. And we took some pictures of Meredith with pretties in her hair.(Thank you Mandy for whatever you did at the Pink with Tink party) She now will let me put clips in her hair. We also took some family pictures on Mother's Day.

Love you all,

KImberly"

Just to add to the fun, Grant is now spinning on the floor, and loves to bounce in the bouncer and push the walker forward. He is full of smiles and loves and we adore his peaceful loving spirit!

Meredith is just as wonderful. She is full of curiosity and joy for the world around her. She loves outside and gets very creative right before bed. We love how excited she gets when we pull in to pick up Morgan. It always makes me smile to have her waving or running to the door to come and see me!

Welcome Spring

Well as you all know, spring time is in full swing here in middle Tennessee. I personally love it. I love the rain. I grew up in the rain, and welcome it with open arms. Don't get me wrong, I love a nice sunny day even better, but the lovely rain has so much to offer. Like gardens that grow, and flowers that bloom. And sitting under a blanket while watching a movie. Or pretending to watch a movie so you can play on the computer. :)

The boys have gotten to spend some time with a few of their cousins lately and have really loved it. Marley has come over, as well as Liam and Austin. We sure do love them. Here are a few random pics I've taken lately.

After having all this rain, our back yard turns into a stream. A very strong canal with different living things in it. Like these guys for instance. They left our canal just as soon as they could, but we sure thought it was neat to see them.

We've had a lot of strawberries in our garden. I love growing things in the garden! It is so fun and the boys (and Marley!) thought it was so cool to pick out their own strawberries.

Austin and Jackson have turned into quite the little buddies!

This is what we do in the back yard. The boys play with their cars, and Nic and I kick balls. I am getting pretty good. Not as good as Nic. Clearly he is the best ball kicker. Should-a played for the Titans. :)

This is what else we do in the back yard. It has only been hot enough one day this year to do this, but it will be. (don't we all know it will be) Liam happened to be here that one day. What fun those boys had!

Baby Colin had those "take pictures of me" eyes. Who could resist?

This kid is super cute!

And last but not least, I got a new lens. It is like butter. It allows me to do pictures like this. (this is not photoshopped, only downsized!) (and yes, the color is off, but not if you click on it and open it up on your computer. hehe)

And this...

Love it. Good night. If I stay up any later, I will have to watch Jay Leno. And when I say have to, I mean that I won't be able to rationalize NOT watching him. I love Jay. (did I just admit to that?) He goes off the air at the end of May. Boo hoo hoo. :) Loves!

My two boys

I just thought perhaps you all (ya'll) would like to see this picture. I took it in Kansas City when my mom was visiting. We went to visit my grandma and pick up my new car! (well she bought a new car, but I LOVE our new to us car! Thank you Grandma!!!) I will probably post it on my photography blog too, but for now, happy friday! I am going to bed!
