Amazing!

I have just a few quiet minutes before all my kids hit full force and so I thought I would just share a few of my favorite moments on June 1st....

Bzzzz.  bzzzz.  My eyes flew open.  "What time is it?"  4:00 am.  I shot out of bed and asked Morgan if it was Jordon.  It was.  The moment had finally come and Jordon and Kimberly were on their way.  I scrambled around gathering oils, the activator, and other assorted necessities.   The car pulled in the driveway and our adventure had begun...
May I just interject here, that Kimberly is one of the most beautiful pregnant mamas ever.  She had been up since midnight was was full of smiles and anticipation.  The drive was perfect, we laughed and chattered eagerly.  There were moments toward the end, where we were quiet and allowed Kimberly time to rest and prepare for the hours ahead.
Let's fast forward a bit.  We checked in and Christy arrived with camera in hand.  Again I will brag a bit on both Kimberly and Jordon.  They were picture perfect.  They walked the halls, and labored with him supporting her 100%.  Kimberly was amazing.  I admire her so much.  She is calm and in focused.  She is quick to let her emotions flow and laugh or cry in the moment.  I love that.  I love that she let us know her needs and allowed us to be there and support her.
At one point in time, Kimberly and Jordon were in the tub and Christy , the midwife and I all felt the beauty, the peace, the sacredness of that moment.  I felt so privileged to be in the room and experience that and to do so with such incredible people.
I wish you could all experience the moment when a woman sees her baby for the first time.  It's pure raw emotion and it is awesome!
Baby Annette was perfect!  She opened her eyes and looked up at her mama almost immediately.  She was wide awake and so peaceful.  She made her entrance at 9:06  and weighed in at 7lbs 6 oz.  She was 20 1/2 inches long and is so pink and pretty.  She has the most beautiful lips and bright eyes.
Thanks to Christy's fantastic talents, we have this beautiful photo to share...

I am so incredibly grateful to have been a part of this experience.  I'm grateful to have shared it with three of the people I love most in the world.  I'm grateful for families and I love this family with all my heart.  Thank you Kimberly and Jordon for trusting us to be there for you and letting us show our love and support.  Kimberly you are a superwoman in our eyes and we love you.   Jordon you were awesome as well.  Christy, I'm so glad you were there.  Your hands and talents were just what we needed.  Welcome to the family baby Annette.  We love you!

Celebrating Baby and Mama...

Ok, so I said that I was going to close this blog down, but well, I lied...well, I didn't lie per se, I just thought how can I not record these awesome events? So here we are and I am sharing with you an awesome event planned by Christy to honor our sweet pregnant mama Kimberly!
Christy took these amazing photos of Kimberly.  Isn't she the most beautiful baby mama?

 Love the decor!

Hair bow station, so that baby Nette has LOTS of bows for her hair...
 Lovely Ladies!
GG couldn't be there for the fun, but she made this beautiful dress for Annette's blessing... We can't wait for this sweet bundle of joy to join our family.  She has some Auntie's who are super excited to give her some love...  I look at all these photos and I just feel so much gratitude for this family.  I love that we are excited for each other's blessings and there to support one another in the challenging moments.  I'm grateful for such wonderful sister's in law!

Kindof Sad...

I'm kindof sad to say this, but I think it's time to retire this blog.  It seems that the easier way to keep up with us is through facebook.  I will continue to keep up with my personal family blog on in-the-family.blogspot.com, so if you want to follow the morgan and jessie clan you can do so there.  Thanks for checking in on us.  See you on facebook!

I Feel the Love...

Ok, let it be known that these pictures are not fantastic, nor are they artistic in any way.  I didn't frame anything, they are just plain real... Our family at it's best...
We're all cuddled together in a wonderful, full of love and laughter kind of chaos and I wouldn't change a thing!
I loved that all the cousins had to figure out a way to sit next to each other even if it meant you were super squished...

The present exchange this year was extra special.  I think everyone really put their heart into it.  I felt like each gift, was more than just dropping into a store to pick something out, but there was a lot of thought and love and creativity put into each gift.  Time was spent and I felt like everyone felt the love.

I love the circles.  Kids in the center parents on the outskirts, but no one left out...

                                                           Gotta love some Captain America!

Isa making sure Marley sees Justin Beiber's face on her pretty...

I loved Cole's look of disbelief here.  800 legos?  That's AWESOME!

Cousins and best friends... seriously we are so blessed!

I didn't get any of the adult gift exchange, but I was just thinking of all the gifts.  I wish I had gotten Quinn's reaction to his gift.  I love that there is laughter in our lives.  I love that even when things are super tough and we find ourselves under massive amounts of pressure, we still can laugh till we cry, find good things to focus on and encourage one another to hold on just a little bit longer.  I couldn't ask for better people to spend this life and the next with.  I don't even have the words to express the love I feel for this family, so I'll just say this.  I love you all and I pray that this year will be amazing!
