Just wanted to say awesome job Nate and Mandy. It was super fun cheering you on and being there to support you. You two's commitment and endurance is inspiring and I love that you did it together. High 5's to Marbear and Aria for supporting and encouraging and taking lots of runs with you! Your family rocks and we are grateful for you!

Easter

Since it is BLOODY hot in my house and I am WAY too cheap to turn on the air, (Actually I just plain refuse to turn on the air conditioning before May 1st) I decided it would be fun to camp out in the backyard. We have a backyard with a forest, a tent, a newly dug firepit... why not? SO we did! It was great. The kids loved it and I sat and listened to primary songs and bugs and airplanes. It's the first time in a long time that I have just listened and listed in my mind all the things I have to be grateful for, starting with my family, my home, my faith, my Savior, my Heavenly Father, the list goes on and on. I hope we all have a chance to set aside our everyday and try something that gives us time for gratitude! Happy Easter!

Tonight as I am putting Em to bed she says, " I want to sleep on this pillow because it smells like the uncles van and daddy smells like the uncles van." So sweet and cute and like Emery to appreciate the smell of the van just because it reminds her of the uncles. I think it's time for a mini family vacation with some real quality daddy time. I love my ladybug girl!

Pinewood Derby!

Last year we tanked so this year we got a little more aggressive and went for best of show. Liam did really well in the races and we were grateful for the extra help and tools loaned to help Liam's car be a success. His certificate was Best use of nuts and bolts. I think it's rather fitting don't you!

Seriously, I am so blessed. I am so grateful for my little Colin bug. He is such a joy to have in our home. I am so grateful for the love that you share with my little man. He felt so loved on his birthday. Thanks for sharing his special day with us and for loving him so much!
