I did a little researching and found Cumberland Mountain State Park near where the boys were and decided it might be fun to talk a little walk before the concert. It is SO beautiful there! I would have LOVED camping there. It had some really pretty lake views and what seemed to have been some pretty enjoyable hiking trails. You should have seen Kim and I......we took the kiddos in the baby joggers and started out on this little hike around the lake....we turned around not to far into it (because of all the bumbs) but snaps for us for even trying. That's what happens when you get some nature girls together, we'll try anything just to enjoy some GOOD earthy smells. Hee, hee!!
The concert was a hit. The energy was on and I just felt joy being a part of it. I got to hear some songs I'd never heard them perform and all I've got to say is that the hard work is really paying off and they rock! The stage was beautiful.....AUH! It's these moments that remind me how blessed I am to have a husband who LOVES every second of his time working and the time he spends on the road is much worth it. I am totally proud of them. Anyway, Marley really enjoyed the show as well. She got to go right down in front and boogie with her Auntie Jo. She was cracking me up because she kept waving at Nate yelling "DAAAAADY". I told her he could see her yet but she insisted on continuing to wave until he did see her and when he did her whole face just lit up. She is very proud of her daddy and uncles.
