They grow so fast!

I can't believe I have and eight year old. I'm so grateful for Liam's decision to be baptized. We had such a great experience and he feels really good about his decision. I'm so thankful for such a wonderful little man and so thankful for all the support from family and friends. He felt so loved!! Thank you everyone for coming and being a part of our special day. Thank you Christy for taking photos for me. That means so much! We love you all!

Painting!

I feel so blessed to have such sweet little nieces and nephews. I watched Meredith and Austin and had so much fun the other day ago. They had some fun too! Here's a peek at our day...

Great job on the pigtails Jordon!

What are these monkeys up to? They are supposed to be washing hands, but they look a little guilty! I think they were playing in the water more than washing up. hee hee
We took Austin to the zoo and had a ball. He and Emery wore themselves out running the whole zoo barefoot no less.

Silly munchkins! Now on to a fun weekend with Cole. I love these bugaboos!

Jackson's Big Day

Both my boys went to preschool last week. Cole is in the Pre-Kindergarden room and will be in kindergarden next year. Jackson started at St. Ignatius Mother's Day Out in the same room, with the same teacher that Cole started in 2 years ago. I was so proud of him. He got all ready in the morning. Hair done, teeth brushed, lunch in tow, backpack on; and when we got to his room, he walked in and shook off his backpack to go play with the toys. It is going to be nice for me to be able to spend some uninterrupted hours working on my photography business. The boys love it at their preschool, but I do miss them when they're gone! Here are some pics from their first day. (and yes they are wearing the same shirts as in my previous post. That's why I bought these, for the first day of school. I just got excited before and made them let me take their picture :)

Isn't he so handsome?! He was beaming that he got to go this year.

This is Ms. Cecelia. She is one of Jackson's teachers. I didn't catch Ms. Christine for a picture, but he'll have two teachers this year. Ms. Cecelia is one of the two that Cole had 2 years ago when he first started at the same age.

Cole was ready to go too!! He cracks me up!

Cole with Ms. Angie. He is in the big Pre-K room that has two classes. Cole is in the older class with a lot of the same kids that he's been with for the past 2 years. It is really fun for me to drop him off because I have become friends with so many people there. This year in pre-k, Cole will be better learning his letters and numbers, cooking food every Thursday, and tons of more stuff... he will be kept busy!

This is the outside of the preschool building. We love it here! I am so lucky I found this place, as well as live right around the corner. Have a great Sunday!

It's raining.... so here you go!

I love the rain. I love it when we have a 'tennessee' rain becasue it pours and is so extremely beautiful. I even love a good thunderstorm. Which is going on outside right now, as we speak. (man I should have been a weather person. Did you know that when I was in Middle School, that is what I wanted to be!) but I digress. So anyway, it is beautiful outside, the boys are napping and I am in bliss. Here are a few pictures of my two boys from last week. I tried to have a photo shoot with them and they were somewhat good about it. Thanks Jess for posting a bunch of my ID pics. Now I don't have to. hehe. But since I know you want to see some... here you go. :)

I have a confession to make. Well two actually. Cole got this stuff called Moon Sand for his birthday LAST year. Like a year and a half ago. And I have never let him play with it. Aren't I terrible? Mostly it was because I kept forgetting about it being up in the closet. The other reasons revolved around my anal retentive nature for my house to be clean. I am not much of a sand person anyway. I will never let my children have a sand box or anything like that. But I thought I would let them give it a try. It was just how I suspected it to be. Terrible. Who ever made this stuff ... well, I just don't like it. It took me just as long to clean it all up as it did for the kids to play with it. Halfway through them playing with it, I got out the camera to document this since I won't let them play with it again. I feel better getting that off my chest. :)

Have a great week!
