Boy or Girl?......

Or could it be both!!! I called Jessie today to ask if it'd be okay to share the fun news. ( seems how I've been thinking about it ever since I found out ) She has her first pregnancy check up next Tuesday!!! YAY!!!! I thought it'd be kinda fun to make some guesses as to what we think the baby/babies gender will be.

Marley thinks it'll be a girl
Nathan thinks it'll be a boy
I think she'll have a boy and a girl. :)

Now cast your guesses!!!!

Happy Birthday Nic

(note: I am depressed that The Office and Grey's aren't on tonight so I thought I would catch up on my correspondence. :) Sorry to jump on top of your post Mandy. Mar bear is super cute!!)

Nic's birthday this year was so much fun. I kinda like to spoil my sweet husband when I have the chance. So this year the boys and I got him a few presents and then Saturday I surprised him with tickets to see Bill Cosby downtown at TPAC. We had so much fun!!! Here are a few pictures from his birthday week.

Cole helped me make daddy's birthday cake. He loves to help out in the kitchen. He'll say something charasmatic like "hold on, I gotta go get my stool." He is a great help.

The man himself! We weren't supposed to take pictures but I turned off my flash and zoomed in. Not the best shot in the world, but it is proof. He was great. Funny as always. The man is 71 years old and he makes fun of it. It was a great show!

Marley and Mommys Zoo trip

Marley and I took another trip to the Zoo yesterday and as the usual truly enjoyed ourselves. Is such a great place to to take Marley to spend some one on one time together. I LOVE watching her get excited and amazed at the animals which she other wise may not be when with a group of friends.

She LOVED the Lorikeets today. We met one whose name was Roxy and it seems as if she were just as intrigued with Marley as she was with her. So of coarse I took a few pictures of them bonding. :) There also was a duck whose feather were starting to change, I was interested and asked about it. We learned that it was a Manderin duck from China!!! He becomes colorful for the breading season.....trying to impress the ladies. ;) Anyway, another interesting thing about them I hadn't known was that they stand on one foot for a little resting kinda cute. I thought maybe one had gotten hurt but then I started looking around and a few of them were standing on one foot. So keep your eyes peeled on your next visit! I also found it cute that she enjoyed looking at the Meerkats through the telescope. She usually just plays with it but today she was doing a little gazing. Last but not least I mentioned before that she puts on a show almost everytime we got to the Zoo. She stands ontop of the sewer (as if it's her very own stage) and does a singing and dancing act. See for your self. I apologize for it being sideways.....still trying to figure out how to work my camera and this computer. Ha!! Just tilt your head a little to the left and she's just as cute!!!!

Love you all!!!

In The Moment

"In The Moment" Tag
I am: a wife, mother, daughter, friend, confidant, sister
I think: about things and try to plan them out maybe a little too much.
I know: That I am extremely blessed in this life.
I want: To take out my contacts (but I have to finish this now that I've started)
I have: The 2 most awesome boys in the world.
I dislike: Being as full as I am right now (from Cheesecake Factory!!)
I miss: My Mom, Sister and friends from Renton. :)
I fear: Getting physically hurt. Being left out. Failure.
I feel: Better now that I took out my contacts. Panicky because I don't like wasting time like this. hehe.
I hear: The crickets outside. A quite and calm house.
I smell: Can't smell anything. Not sure if that is good or bad.
I crave: Learning new things. Chocolate (just not right this second)
I cry: Quite often. I am coming to grips with it. The only other woman who cries more than me is my mother in law. Love her!
I usually: Have my day lined up a day ahead of time. Vacuum everyday.
I search: For shirts when I am shopping. Some people buy shoes, I buy shirts.
I wonder: How my boys could be any cuter than they are right now at 3 years old and 18 mo old.
I regret: A few things. But hey, it's life.
I love: My husband and boys.
I care: About helping others to feel happy and wanted.
I always: Call my mom.
I worry: About more than you think I do.
I am not: Capable of everything.
I remember: When each of my nieces and nephews were born. All of them.
I believe: In my family and friends.
I dance: Oh, I wish I was currently dancing. I mean really dancing like I used to. But for now dancing to our ipod favorites with my boys will do. That is a site to see. So cute!!
I sing: really well in my car. :)
I don't always: Do all my dishes if I know no one is coming over.
I argue: If I know I am right. Or at least if I believe I am right.
I write: Not enough.
I win: In the long run.
I lose: Not too often.
I wish: I could take the knowledge of life I have now and apply it when I was in HS and college.
I listen: Yes, and take advise from people. Probably too much.
I don't understand: Why some people act the way they do. Sometimes it's time to grow up.
I can usually be found: At home, at work or at Target. haha
I am scared: That some day I will wake up and know I could have done things better.
I need: To let that go and know I am trying my hardest for now.
I forget: Sometimes in the importance of prayer.
I am happy: Most of the time. I love life and this fall season!

Crossville, TN

We had such a wonderful time on our little trip to Crossville, TN. Thank you Kimberly and Meredith for joining us and had I known Joanna was going to come I would have carpooled along with her as well.

I did a little researching and found Cumberland Mountain State Park near where the boys were and decided it might be fun to talk a little walk before the concert. It is SO beautiful there! I would have LOVED camping there. It had some really pretty lake views and what seemed to have been some pretty enjoyable hiking trails. You should have seen Kim and I......we took the kiddos in the baby joggers and started out on this little hike around the lake....we turned around not to far into it (because of all the bumbs) but snaps for us for even trying. That's what happens when you get some nature girls together, we'll try anything just to enjoy some GOOD earthy smells. Hee, hee!!

The concert was a hit. The energy was on and I just felt joy being a part of it. I got to hear some songs I'd never heard them perform and all I've got to say is that the hard work is really paying off and they rock! The stage was beautiful.....AUH! It's these moments that remind me how blessed I am to have a husband who LOVES every second of his time working and the time he spends on the road is much worth it. I am totally proud of them. Anyway, Marley really enjoyed the show as well. She got to go right down in front and boogie with her Auntie Jo. She was cracking me up because she kept waving at Nate yelling "DAAAAADY". I told her he could see her yet but she insisted on continuing to wave until he did see her and when he did her whole face just lit up. She is very proud of her daddy and uncles.

Funny kids

I just want to say that we had a great time with GG and Grandpa this past weekend. All the cousins played wonderfully together. Monday night Cole and Marley especially played great together. They started making pictures with the chalk outside and quickly turned into 'lets draw on each other'. It was so cute and funny that I had to run upstairs and grab the camera. I love them!!!

Cole is trying on the Indiana Jones gear. Suits him don't ya think?!

Ok, so I got these pics all sized up and everything and like 2 days ago tried to post them but my internet has been down. Bummer. But here they are. The group shot is great! All the kids are looking and even smiling.
