Baby Grant makes an entrance!
Wow, Kimberly and Jordon, you are amazing! I am so grateful for each of you and the love you have for one another. Thank you for letting me be a part of such a special moment. Grant, your entrance into the world increased my testimony of how the Lord works in our lives. He truly is there to orchestrate each experience to make it the best for each one of us. Grant entered this life at 12:59 pm. So pretty much 12 hours after they got started! He weighed in at 8 lbs 15.7 oz. Yes Kimberly, was ALL baby. I still can't figure out how he fit inside her tiny belly! Anyway, he is 21 inches long and absolutely wonderful! We're so glad he is here! Congratulations Meredith on being a big sister! We love you all! jess

Photography

As many of you know, our Kimberly is due to have her little baby boy like ... today. We are so excited for her and Jordon to welcome a new little spirit into their family. I had the opportunity to take some maternity photos of Kimberly yesterday. Here is a sneak peak and if you like what you see, feel free to visit my new photography blog at cnwphotography.blogspot.com. It is my goal to keep this site updated so feel free to check back when you can. I am having so much fun doing this I think I just may never stop. Loves and hugs! ~Christy

Thanksgiving
Here is the long awaited (I am sure!) Thanksgiving Day backyard play... or something.
Let me first say thank you to Kimberly and Jordon for hosting thanksgiving. We always have a blast at your house... and you are like going to have your baby tomorrow!! (her, Kim's, due date is SOON). You guys were good sports and we had a wonderful dinner. I wanted to post the pictures of the kids in the back yard. It was dark so the pics are not great, but you get what you get sometimes. I will try to narrate as best as I can remember..... hehe

We start off with a few of the children wanting a ride on the small wagon attached to the rider mower. So I went inside to find a willing and able body (like I am going to be in charge of riding around all the kids!) ha! And to grab the camera. A few of the kids took turns riding in the very small wagon and on Nic's lap.

Here is Cole with Emery in the wagon and Meredith on Nic's lap. We're adding more interest to the children. Time for more things to pull them around with. And so Jordon, mr. inventor, adds on another toy.

But that wasn't enough. I was inside for this point because it is super cold outside, but Mandy comes in telling me that I've got to go outside and check out the train.

Due to the extremely dark atmosphere, I didn't get an attequate shot of the whole train. But it was hilarious that over the span of a few hours more and more was added to allow more children aboard. Then Marley, Cole and Liam (along with Jordon and Nic) took turns (if you can call it that) pushing each other off of the last animal, the horsey. It was so funny and I am quite confident that my husband and his brothers will pass on their 'rough play'... if that is what you can call it. :)
Saturday we went to the 2009 car show. There were some awesome cars there and it made me dream. Ahhh.... new car. ;)

Happy 4 years to us!!!

Can you believe it's been 4 years!? On one hand it is believable and I think man, has it ONLY been 4, and I don't mean this harshly at all. Just stating that we've had a long history and had known each other 6 years before we got married. Then there's a part of me that thinks, Man it's already been 4 years. CRAZY!!!
While I was going through the old photo album I found a quote I had put by one of our pictures....."To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world." I still feel this way sweetie.

Short but Sweet
I'm not trying to slack on blogging...you all know how I LOVE blogging, but my time has been slim. So, just to let you all know I'm not dropping the ball I'm going to post some cute photos I've taken over the past 3 weeks. I'm thankful GG and Pops got to visit. Their trips to see us makes for some FUN family gatherings.
I LOVE our family!!!
P.S. I had to add the one of Marley making GOOD use of her time with Daddy princessafieing him up.

Kansas City Trip

Here we are outside the Sprint Center excited to go in.
We knew our tickets were for front row (which is why Nic made the decision to buy them... things are always better in the front row!) but we thought there would be 4-5 rows infront of us with VIP seating. There wasn't. We were smack dab front row. I had two ladies to my right that were just a tad closer and may I say that Donnie kissed one of them at the end of the show. I am so jealous! hehe. The opening act was Natasha Beddingfield (sp?). She was awesome! Nic touched her hand and I felt like she was so sincere and sweet.
Then the New Kids came out and they put on an awesome show!!! We really did have a good time. I touched Jordan's hand. hehe. That's right. I am not washing my hand again. hmmmm... well maybe I did, but it was cool and the drunk, emotional girl next to Nic (who took off her bra and proceeded to swing it around for like 30 minutes. Then she asked me to throw it on stage for her. I said no.) was definatly jealous. She cried the whole concert. Sorry I didn't get a pic of her. But here are some of the other good shots we got at the show. Nic took the picture of Donny where he put his finger in the air. Donny was looking at Nic... totally did that for our camera. Also smiled right at me when I took his picture close up. Good times. I have the best husband in the whole world. My 10 year old girl (and the 27 soon to be 28 year old girl) was thrilled. I love you baby.

The next day we relaxed and did a little shopping. These are us being goofy while shopping. Notice Nic's pose by the fountain. There is something about the beauty of a fountain that makes you want to take a picture by it... Nic, knowing that, decided to pose silly. Sometimes I guess that's all you get. :)
